Writer/Photographer - Lily Monigold On Friday, March 19th, the Freshmen and Sophomore girls got pumped up for the 2021 Homecoming Powder Puff game. There were many concerns that the game would not be able to happen outside. It was originally scheduled for Wednesday night, but got rescheduled for Friday during the school day due to the weather. While it still felt chilly outside for the spectators, it was perfect weather for the girls playing hard on the field. The Freshmen were excited to experience their very first Powder Puff game, and the Sophomores were ready to see what they could do after a hard loss to the current Juniors last year. The Freshmen were coached by Coach Roberts, and the Sophomores were co-coached by Coach Conn and Coach Owens. One touchdown was made during the game by Freshman Josey Ester. This brought the Freshmen to a victory in their very first Powder Puff game with a score of 6-0. However, the Sophomores are already getting ready to destroy next year's Seniors!
