On Thursday the 4th, the girls basketball teams played two great games against Fisher. This was the girls’ last game and the cheer senior night for basketball. Although this year has not been very traditional, the girls did great. We have the coaches and our school to thank for how much effort they have put in to let these games happen all year. We should also thank the girls on the team for putting in hours of work. For senior cheer girls night, all of the senior girls received a bouquet of flowers and a tie-dye blanket of our school colors; maroon and gold. They were also announced and brought in front of the crowd with their parents. They were announced by Mr. Reschke. The girls were also given 4 tickets for spectators. The JV girls played the first game. At halftime, Le Roy was up 15 to 7. Le Roy continued in this pattern until the end of the game with a score of 27 to 19. Congratulations to the JV team on ending the season with a win. At Varsity halftime, the Varsity girls kept the same trend as the JV with a score of 37 to 21. The Varsity girls won their game with an ending score of 64-44. It was a great night for the Le Roy girls!
